Newly released reports rank fairness and competitiveness of state and U.S. tax systems
By News Team

According to a report released in early September, the U.S. has the third least competitive tax code of developed nations, trailed only by Portugal and France.

The report, conducted by the Tax Foundation, was released the same day that personal finance social network WalletHub released results for its nationwide survey on the Most and Least Fair State Tax Systems, of which Montana and Washington took the spots as the most and least fair, respectively.
